Surveillance camera code of practice compliance tool

The Surveillance Camera Commissioner, Tony Porter, has praised the work of SSAIB in helping to develop a newly launched and easy-to-use self assessment tool, designed for organisations to show how they are complying with the 12 guiding principles in the surveillance camera code of practice.

The tool will help organisations show what they’re already doing to comply with the code, as well as what may need to be done in the future. The tool – which comprises an interactive PDF – has also been tested thoroughly with CCTV camera operators and managers.
