SSAIB Inspector Calls it a Day After 20 Years of Service

SSAIB inspector David Balcombe has retired after a 20-year stint working for the company.

The Horsham-based 80-year-old joined the SSAIB’s team of auditors back in 1997 and has mainly covered the Surrey and Sussex areas for the last two decades, but he made the decision to retire last year.

David’s last commitment for the SSAIB was attending the recent auditors’ meeting earlier this week, where a presentation was made to him to recognise his efforts and commemorate his long-standing association with SSAIB.

Chief executive Alex Carmichael commented: “On behalf of everyone at SSAIB, I’d like to thank David for all of his hard work over the last 20 years and the endless amount of audits he’s completed in that time. I’m sure I also speak for everyone within the company when I wish him an enjoyable retirement and all the best for the future.”
