SSAIB has produced a bumper 10-page newsletter to usher in the New Year, produced in a PDF format that is today being issued to all 1700 Registered Firms.
Including a message from Chief Executive Alex Carmichael, discussing a range of important issues affecting registered firms, it also contains Operations Manager Dave Profit’s guide to changes in the latest NPCC (formerly ACPO) Security Systems Policy.
Other interesting information in the 2016 Newsletter includes a visit to see Community Safety Glasgow’s Public Space CCTV activities at the new multi-functional Glasgow Operations Centre, as well as Enfield Council’s unprecedented public safety achievement in attaining certification for activities such as lone worker safety monitoring.
SSAIB’s debut at the Fire Sector Summit is described too, along with a summary of an important new report on ‘live’ false alarms investigation which details 35 recommendations that could significantly reduce false alarm occurrences in future.
