New Registered Firms Landing Page Unveiled By SSAIB

Following feedback from those who attended our regional meetings, SSAIB have unveiled a brand new landing page for the registered firms section of the website – as the first of a number of changes planned for the platform.

Our firms told us that they wanted a simpler, cleaner and user-friendly setup when they logged into their section of the website, with all of the most important aspects either on screen or just a click away.

This included putting information about next scheduled inspections, current usage of certificates and the latest news, bulletins and BSI standards on the home page for ease of access. By doing this, it eradicates the need to go endlessly clicking around the site to find this information.

There is also a quick links section that provides simple navigation to learning and education, our events page, rules and codes of practices and FAQs – as well as the option to edit account details and change password should the need arise.

Having held regional meetings across the whole of the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland throughout the year, marketing manager Andrew Brown was told repeatedly by those in attendance that an overhaul of the registered firms site would make things easier for companies and it was through these meetings that Andrew decided to make it a priority to sort out.

Andrew explained: “While speaking about that section of the website during those meetings, there was a running theme about the landing page and the need for it to be simple but effective for companies. We took those comments on board and were able to come up with a solution that I think will be a popular addition to the site.

“With the new neater setup – with headings now going horizontally along the top of the page, instead of down the left section of the page in a list – we hope that our registered firms will find it a lot easier to see exactly what they’re looking for and making the whole process as simple as possible.

“This latest update heralds the start of a raft of changes expected to be implemented on the website between now and the end of the year to vastly improve what we already have, so keep an eye out for more tweaks in the coming weeks and months.”
